Voice Lessons
I am a classically trained Verdi baritone with a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Florida State University. I have been singing and performing since the age of four and have over a decade of classical vocal training. I have also been teaching voice lessons for five years and have had students land leading roles in university stage productions, earning degrees in musical theater, and performing on Broadway.
I like to take a sports-medicine-like approach to teach, focusing heavily on vocal function. Believing that an in-depth understanding of the anatomy of the voice is key to improving vocal technique. My teaching style draws upon the pedagogical writings of Richard Miller, William Venard, and the teachings of David Okerlund.
